I kinda call myself an "aspiring photographer". I love it as a hobby now, but I'd love to get better at it as I get older. As for now, it's just me and my old digital camera trying to capture things as best as I can. I may doodle a picture onto here once in a while, but that'll just be for fun.

More about me? Music. Basically. I am a band geek and I love my alto saxophone. It is my baby.

Thank you for the Fave! I like the shots you've taken, but I agree a new camera might be less frustrating for you, you can get the camera to do the work for you instead of going into photo editing software to dress things up. Isn't Picasa awesome though?

I had the same problem, and I just upgraded big time. Probably went overboard, but I'm treating it like love, and I have to give it my all, or I will die wondering if I could have done more. Now I just need to figure out what all the buttons and doodads are for ;).
No idea what you're looking at or what your budget is, but my old camera is a Fuji, and I think it served me well. In fact, I plan on keeping it handy for those days when I just want to grab and run out the door.

Thanks again, and good luck with your future photo and camera opportunities.
